To use one of our CD's, you
simply put it in your computer's CD drive and open the files using either Adobe
Acrobat or Microsoft Word. Ceol Sean CD's are "data storage" CD's. As such,
they aren't software, and don't install like a CD that contains programming. If
you're working with PC equipment and have Adobe Acrobat installed, the CD's
will "autostart" and take you directly to a welcome page, where you can link to
the instructions and index.
Ceol Sean CD's are presented
using both .PDF and Microsoft Word formats, thus they may be used in either PC
and Mac equipment. Each CD has an instructions file that explains the
organization and layout of the CD, and how to access the files. In addition, we
include indexes that list each individual tune, and include hyperlinks so you
can "jump" directly to the music for any tune on the CD!!
We pride ourselves on the fact
that every feature of each Ceol Sean CD has been designed and reviewed by a
piper. We know from first-hand experience what pipers need and expect in their
music sources. We work with pipers who help us test our prototypes before they
are marketed. We're convinced that this is the only way to assure that the
organization and quality of the contents meet the needs of our users.
